Sunday,
Riverwood Annual Baptism Service and Picnic!

Sunday, August 30th, 1:00 pm

We will be having our annual baptism and picnic on Sunday, August 30th at Lake Rebecca. Meet at the beach at 1:00 pm for the baptism, then stick around for a picnic and fellowship time! Bring your own lunch, beverages, chairs and blankets.

If you would like to be baptized on Sunday, August 30th, please fill out this form: Baptism Form

In order to be baptized, you must attend a baptism informational meeting. The meeting will be held Saturday, August 22nd at 10 am at Riverwood. You also must prepare a short testimony to give before the baptism. This will be discussed at the meeting, as well as any other questions.

To our Riverwood Family,

As you may already know, Governor Walz made an executive order on July 22nd that people in Minnesota are required to wear a face mask in all public indoor spaces and businesses beginning July 25th. This includes places of worship, like Riverwood. Because of this, we will be requiring masks to be worn at our indoor services. Some things to know:

  1. We will be requiring everyone attending services indoors to wear a mask.
  2. Exemptions for masks include children 5 and under and individuals with a medical condition, mental health condition, or disability that makes it unreasonable for the individual to maintain a face covering.
  3. Our service will still be livestreamed at 9:00 am every Sunday if you prefer to watch at home.

We thank you for your grace and patience. We love you!

Here is some info on what to expect:

We are moving to a CURBSIDE model of service. Both existing and new clients are being asked to park along the curb on Main Street in front of the food shelf – please be sure to begin the line of vehicles all the way down to the four-way stop and WAIT in your vehicle until a volunteer brings a shopping list of available foods. Additional instructions will be given at this time. If you do not have a vehicle please wait on the green bench outside our front door and we will assist you. Please note that NO clients will be served inside the food shelf at this time.

If you are sick please DO NOT come to the food shelf – send an adult to get food on your behalf or call and we will do our best to make arrangements.

We will keep our Facebook page and our phone message (763-477-6098) current with any updates in food service.

Thank you for your patience as we understand that this is a different way of doing business at the food shelf. It will allow us to follow CDC guidelines while serving clients in a safe and orderly way and provide food with love for every table!
