Sharing love and faith by gathering and serving in our communities to address Health, Hunger and Habitation.
Thousand Hearts Crow River Serve Day is an event that brings many volunteers together for one day of service to our Community. Due to COVID-19 and the very nature of this event previously planned for Saturday, May 16, we are postponing the majority of projects until September, 2020. The only projects that may go forward are those that can be completed by one volunteer at a time. Please watch for the new date in September to be announced on Thousand Hearts Crow River Serve Day Facebook page and our website, www.thousandhearts.weebly.com or email annettetryon@gmail.com.
Please be safe and stay healthy! See you in September!

Thousand Hearts is a program of RiverWorks Community Development.

Updated Hours beginning April 6th:
Monday 3:30-7:30 pm
Tuesday, 9:30-11:30 am

Here is some info on what to expect:

In our continued effort to protect clients, volunteers and staff beginning, Monday, March 23rd we will be changing the way we distribute food.

We are moving to a CURBSIDE model of service. Both existing and new clients are being asked to park along the curb on Main Street in front of the food shelf – please be sure to begin the line of vehicles all the way down to the four-way stop and WAIT in your vehicle until a volunteer brings a shopping list of available foods. Additional instructions will be given at this time. If you do not have a vehicle please wait on the green bench outside our front door and we will assist you. Please note that NO clients will be served inside the food shelf at this time.

If you are sick please DO NOT come to the food shelf – send an adult to get food on your behalf or call and we will do our best to make arrangements.

We will keep our Facebook page and our phone message(763-477-6098) current with any updates in food service.

Thank you for your patience as we understand that this is a different way of doing business at the food shelf. It will allow us to follow CDC guidelines while serving clients in a safe and orderly way and provide food with love for every table!
