Who are your people?

Riverwood Connect Groups are starting up this fall! Sign up begins this Sunday at the table.

What are Connect Groups at Riverwood?
A group of people helping each other follow Jesus!  A Connect Group is simply a group of people who meet regularly to eat and pray together, help care for each other, and discuss their next steps in following Jesus.  It’s our hope that every person from Riverwood would be part of a Connect Group, because the way of Jesus can only be lived out with people, as they connect in community!

Fall Women’s Bible Study: When God Says “I Will”
Tuesdays, September 17th-October 22nd, 6:30-8:30 pm
Led and hosted by Amy Robinson (email office@riverwoodcovenant.org for address)
*Please bring your Bibles, a notebook, and pen and a highlighter.  No prior reading required.

Why did God do the things He did in the Bible?  We often wrestle with the question, “How could a loving God allow such difficult things in our lives today?”  In this 6-week Women’s Bible Study, we will journey together through a variety of passages where God says, “I WILL…”. We will learn the why behind His statements like:

“I will bless…,”      “I will curse…,”   “ I will help…,”   “I will keep…,”   “I will make…,”
“I will answer…,”   “I will heal…,”     “I will repay…,”  “I will be…”        & many others.

We will search God’s Word for the background  stories leading up to God’s promises of blessings or need to discipline, and we’ll discover that ultimately, His plan is to bless even when He allows hardships in our lives.  This study is designed to help us apply God’s Word to our present day hardships with new understanding of who God is, His truth and how He loves us so!
