Women's Ministries

Riverwood Women's Ministries have some great programs throughout the year!

Current Programs:

Moms-In-Touch:     MIT meets at the Ministry Center during the school year
on Monday mornings at 9:30 to pray for the Rockford Elementary School, our
kids, faculty, teachers and the school district. We have also been praying for
additional MIT groups to be started at the middle and high schools.  MIT
follows the school calendar -- if the school is closed, MIT does not meet.
This is facilitated by Colleen Selly.

Secret Sisters:     This is on-going. We chose sisters annually in the spring. We encourage women to meet with and pray with their sisters at least once a month, and to be praying continually for one-another. This is facilitated by Donna Erickson .

One-on-One Mentoring:     This is on-going. A couple of women have been trained and are currently mentoring women who have foundational questions regarding their faith. This is done on an individual basis. This is facilitated by Donna Erickson .

Special Events:

Spring & Christmas Tea:     We have had fun getting women together during these designated times. The purpose has been for fellowship and celebration of each other and the designated time of year

Hospitality:     This is on-going. We hold baby showers, help host church potluck meals and other special events (food wise) for the church, organize meals for sick/needy people, etc.
