At Riverwood, small groups are vital to church life - a great place to connect, to make lasting friends, and grow in Christ!
Small Groups Vision
We envision a small group culture that provides the fertile soil where people will experience spiritual growth and a deepened faith in Christ. Our vision does not end with faith alone, but that this faith and spiritual growth will express itself through demonstrated acts of loving service, good works and compassion as we motivate and encourage one another.
Galatians 5:6 “The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself in love”Hebrews 10:24-25 “Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near”
About Riverwood Small Groups. Small Groups are also a great place to experience spiritual growth through Bible study and fellowship as we talk about life issues, eat and laugh together, pray, and serve together. Group size and schedule vary depending on the specific group’s dynamic, but typically have about 8–16 people and meet monthly at the group leader’s home. Small Groups are where the rubber meets the road through application of the Word of God in life and practice, because “The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself in Love. Galatians 5:6”
