In these confusing times, it is hard for Christians to know how to approach the topic of homosexuality. With the latest Supreme Court decision on same-sex marriage, it is now even more crucial for Christians to understand how to love our homosexual brothers and sisters, yet still hold to Biblical truth.

At Riverwood, we base our response on that of Jesus. John 1:14 says: “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (NIV) Jesus was full of grace and truth, and we should be too.

Dual Righteousness means being fully righteous in giving grace, and fully righteous in telling the truth. We must be both grace givers and truth tellers when dealing with others caught up in any type of sin.

Posted below are resources to help you to understand the concept of Dual Righteousness and to answer questions you may have about the Biblical response to homosexuality.
