Children's Ministries

It is an amazing thing to consider that the children of our church account for almost half our congregation - or so it seems when they are dismissed for Sunday school!  What an incredible opportunity before us to shape and mold these impressionable young minds with the truths of God's Word and the love that Christ has for each of them.  These children are the future of our church and we have but a brief chance to share the awesome love that God has for them in the gift of eternal life through His Son.  As we equip them, they in turn can share these truths and this love with their friends who may not have the support of a loving church congregation.

Jr. Disciples     (Family Hour/9am)

Kids ages 3 to grade 5 will learn about following Jesus through a variety of activities.  In October we will coordinate with Pastor Keith’s preaching about the Fruit of the Spirit through music, crafts, lessons, and games.  We will be using God’s Big Picture curriculum.  Help!  The teachers for this class have not yet been scheduled.  To volunteer as a Jr. Disciple leader or teacher, contact LouAnn Eberspacher  / #763.477.9838.

Preschool- Preschoolers will continue to enjoy the stories and sheets in the Gospel Light curriculum. Help! The teachers for this class have not yet been scheduled. To volunteer to teach for preschool, contact Amy Pentti / #763.477.5122

K to 2^nd grade-  Kindergartners thru 2^nd graders will enjoy the CDs and stories in the Faith Weavers [??God’s Big Picture??] curriculum.  Help!  The teachers for this class have not yet been scheduled.  To volunteer to teach for K-2^nd grade, contact Tammy Hertle / #763.498.8227

---The above classes are taught by teachers on a rotation.  Teachers teach two weeks at a time every couple of months, dependant upon the number of volunteers.  Older students lend a helping hand and can be provided for teachers who don’t have one already coming with them.

3^rd to 5^th grade- Grades 3 thru 5 will have class every first Sunday of each month with Kristy Pittman  and Sharla Peterman .
